Ivana Pezerovic
-Finance & Administration Manager (Serbia)
It was actually a stroke of luck. :) I was recommended by a person who put her trust in me, even though she is not the kind of person who gives recommendations so easily. It just so happened that Quality House needed someone with my qualifications at that moment.
Ivana Pezerovic as the Finance & Administration Manager (Serbia)
Tell us more about your story in Quality House.
It was actually a stroke of luck. :) I was recommended by a person who put her trust in me, even though she is not the kind of person who gives recommendations so easily. It just so happened that Quality House needed someone with my qualifications at that moment.
When you were a child, what did you dream you'd become?
A ballerina, like many girls.
Tell us more about your position at Quality House and main duties.
Although my position is called CFO, I think my role is more than that. Finances are like oxygen for business, there is no space for miscalculations, the analysis has to be comprehensive and the projection realistic. In order to achieve this, it is not enough to just know the principles of financial management, but it is necessary to go deep into the essence of business. My duties are therefore constant learning, and then daily monitoring, analysis, and financial management.
For you Quality House is…?
A company that supports its employees to learn, progress, and develop according to their own needs and preferences.
Which is the thing you appreciate the most in your colleagues?
I appreciate the most that they are ready to provide help, but also to ask when they need it. The absence of vanity is a prerequisite for progress, both individual and corporate.

Ivana Pezerovic as a Professional
What do you think are the three main qualities that every professional should have?
Passion, because if you don't like what you do, the one who does will be better than you.
Proactivity, because if you don’t, someone else will do it before you.
Persistence, so people would trust you. Business relies on trust.
Tell us more about your education path.
Hope my education never ends. :) After completing my master's studies, I dedicated myself to my family and work. However, the desire to continue my education was constantly burning in me. After more than ten years, I went back to university. Now I am a student again, pursuing my PhD.
Why did you choose this career?
My career path was not a surprise at all, as it is completely in line with my personal characteristics and affinities. A mixture of constant learning, entrepreneurial ideas, analytics, and management may seem like an incompatible mix for some, but I am lucky enough to be in an environment where I can nurture and improve them all.
What has been the greatest challenge you have faced in your career to date?
The biggest challenge in my career was changing the industry. At first, I thought it would be a big change, but I see that there are things in business that are common to many industries and that the philosophy is almost the same.
If you could turn back time would you make the same choice of career as you did before?
If I could choose again now, I would probably opt for an easier path, but from this perspective, I see that various challenges have really taught me a lot, so lessons learned are my most valuable asset.

Ivana Pezerovic as a Person
Who is Ivana Pezerovic outside of work?
To be honest, I am the same person in and out of work. I believe that for a relationship to be successful and satisfying for both sides, open and transparent communication is key! Without it, I am not happy neither privately, nor in business.
How would you describe your perfect day?
I try not to strive for perfection, but to enjoy the little things that make life beautiful. For me, this means having that quality time spent with family and friends, making sure we always keep in mind how much we mean to each other and how important it is to slow down and be present.
What are you most grateful for?
I am grateful for my family and people close to me, as well as all the opportunities I have had in my life.
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Last year I ran a 5km race.
What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
A good book is something that always inspires me. The last one I’ve read, that really moved me, was Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, chronicling his experiences as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps during World War II.
